• 12 February 2015: 2016 JAGUAR F-TYPE: A new star in the Jaguar galaxy is the 2016 Jaguar F-Type Coupe and Convertible, with both on display at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show. The ’16 Jaguar F-Type extends its performance and dynamic capability with instinctive all-wheel drive (AWD). For 2016, the F-Type model range consist of: F-Type (340-hp, rear wheel drive with automatic or manual), F-Type S (380-hp automatic with RWD or AWD, or manual with rear-wheel drive), and F-Type R (550-hp automatic with AWD). Engines can be matched with an eight-speed automatic transmission for shift speed, comfort and refinement, or for a select group of enthusiasts, a six-speed manual transmission for the V-6 and rear-wheel drive (RWD) configuration. The car features a short-throw gear lever with a travel of only 1.77-inches (45mm), closely-spaced ratios, and pedals well placed for heel-and-toe changes. Transmitting the V-8's 502 lb-ft of torque to the road though all wheels helps the R models to accelerate from 0-to-60 mph in just 3.9 seconds on the way to a maximum track speed of 186mph. Its 1+1 cockpit configuration wraps around the driver, sitting low in the heart of the F-TYPE, close to the center of gravity. Now standard is the top-spec 770W Meridian surround sound audio system, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Jaguar Smart Key Keyless entry and 14-way fully power-adjustable seats. Coupe models also receive the panoramic glass roof as standard, adding a tremendous amount of light to the cabin. R Coupe models receive a power tailgate as standard. On S models standard equipment now includes Configurable Dynamic Mode, a flat-bottomed racing-style steering wheel and the driver-selectable Switchable Active Exhaust. Luggage room without the spare is 11-cu.ft., and seven-cu.ft. with the spare tire.
First staged in 1901, the Chicago Auto Show is the largest auto show in North America and has been held more times than any other auto exposition on the continent. The 2015 show marks the 107th edi

 • 08 February 2013: 2013 Kia Soul automobile. Chicago Auto Show, Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA), McCormick Place, Chicago Illinois

2013 Kia Soul: Kia's Soul compact crossover is one of the brand's best-selling vehicles. For 2013, Soul continues with funky "outside of the box" styling, offered in Soul, Soul+ and Soul ! trim levels. Subtle changes include revised Kia badges, dark chrome accents, and exterior paint colors, including Clear White, Dune, Alien green, red-hot Molten, Shadow and Moss. Overall shape of the five-door hatchback has a smoother and more streamlined silhouette, and projects a wider stance. New projector headlights, LED taillights and restyled wheels add a more modern look. All 2013 Soul models amplify the fun-to-drive factor by delivering a class-leading 164 horsepower from the 2.0-liter engine, and 138 hp with the 1.6L. Both are four-cylinders and are available with a choice of the efficient six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions. Soul offers the fuel saving Idle Stop and Go (ISG) technology, that turns off the engine when the vehicle is not in motion and restarts automatically when the driver releases the brake pedal. Inside the five-passenger cabin, available infotainment features include UVO powered by Microsoft voice-activated system, a 4.3-inch color touch screen and rear camera, upgraded leather on the leather-wrapped steering wheel, standard Bluetooth wireless technology with steering wheel-mounted controls. When rear seat are down, the Soul can haul up to 53.4 cu. ft. of cargo.

2013 CHRYSLER 300 SRT8: Not for the faint-of-heart, the 2013 Chrysler 300 SRT8 sedan is for drivers that seek adrenaline-filled excitement, but don't want to sacrifice comfort and innovative features to get it. With head turning designs inside and out, the 300 SRT8 provides the ultimate combination of world-class luxury, power and handling. Under the hood of the '13 Chrysler 300 SRT8 roars the might 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine that delivers 470 horsepower to the rear wheels. Incredible performance numbers like 0-60 mph acceleration in the high 4-second range and top speed of 175 mph backup the vehicles "muscular" appearance. The 300 SRT8 also sports impressive stopping power - 60-0 mph in 120 feet, thanks to the 14.2 inch (front) and 13.8 inch (rear) vented/slotted rotors with four-piston Brembo calipers painted in silver finish. The return of the 300 SRT8 to the Chrysler lineup in 2012 has been a success, and for 2013, the modern muscle car continues to sit a half inch lower than not-SRT models. It also wears black chrome upper and lower grille surrounds, rear valance strip, and standard seven-spoke, 20-inch, fully forged aluminum with polished face and painted sparkle silver. Around back, the rear includes a unique lower fascia with chrome accent bar, four-inch round dual exhaust tips and a modified SRT8 deck-lid badge with black accent. The racing-inspired five-passenger cabin includes a leather-wrapped, heated, SRT-exclusive steering wheel with a flattened bottom surface, real carbon fiber interior trim pieces, plus, racing style brake and gas pedal pads. Nine exterior colors for 2013 include shades with names such as, Deep Cherry Red Pearl Coat, Jazz Blue Pearl Coat and Phantom Black Tri-coat Pearl.
