  • 2015 Oct 19:   Parke County Indiana is the site of the Indiana Covered Bridge Festival every October.  This is the Thorpe Ford  It was built over Big Raccoon Creek on Catlin Road in 1912 and bypassed in 1961,  built by J.A. Britton. The bridge has a 163' span.<br />

It was relocated from private property and restored in 2009.  It now rests on County Road 100N over the Little Raccoon Creek.The bridge has a 154' span and is painted white.<br />
