12 February 2015: 2016 FIAT 500X: On display at the 107th annual Chicago Auto Show, Feb.14-22, 2015, is the all-new 2016 Fiat 500X, the latest addition to the Fiat lineup in North America. Arriving in the second quarter of 2015, the Fiat 500X crossover blends genuine Italian design with advanced all-wheel drive system, unmatched functionality, and performance. The 2016 Fiat 500X is available in five trim levels: Pop, Easy, Lounge, and for a more rugged look, Trekking and Trekking Plus. On the exterior, design elements like double headlamps, a trapezoidal nose, the signature “whiskers and logo” face and the rounded clamshell hood pay homage to the original Cinquecento. You’ll notice the Trekking and Trekking Plus models due to the unique front and rear fascia designs, and satin silver accents. The purposeful and distinct design carries through to the five-passenger interior with clever storage, body-color instrument panel, a circular cluster display and iconic door handles. Loaded with technology and convenience, the Fiat 500X is available with features like Uconnect 6.5 radio with a 6.5-inch high-resolution touchscreen and navigation, Bluetooth streaming audio, Uconnect Access Via Mobile, a 3.5-inch color thin-film transistor (TFT) cluster display, Keyless Enter-N-Go, and heated front seats and steering wheel. Buyers have their choice of the fuel-efficient, 160-horsepower 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission, or the 2.4-liter Tigershark MultiAir2 engine that produces 180 horsepower, and is paired exclusively to a nine-speed automatic transmission on all-wheel-drive and front-wheel-drive models. Interesting exterior color choices include Arancio (orange), Rosso Passione (Red Hypnotique clear coat), Verde Toscana (green metallic) and Blu Venezia (Blue metallic).
