12 February 2015: 2015 CHEVROLET TAHOE LTZ: Chevrolet brings the all-new 2015 Tahoe and Suburban to the 107th edition of the Chicago Auto Show, and bill the duo as the industry’s best-selling full-size SUVs. The 2015 Suburban represents the 80th anniversary and 12th generation of the original SUV. Fresh styling and improved aerodynamic advances the Tahoe and Suburban’s design, and interesting, not a single exterior sheet panel or lighting element is shared with Chevy’s full-size pick-ups. Projector-beam headlamps flank the Chevrolet-signature dual-port grille – chrome on all models – and sweep into the front fenders. high-intensity discharge headlamps and light-emitting diode daytime running lamps are included on the up level LTZ model. Eighteen-inch standard wheels that are a half-inch wider, reducing tire flex for improved cornering performance. Twenty- and 22-inch wheels are available. A more-efficient, direct-injected EcoTec3 5.3-liter V-8 develops 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The engine is connected to a Hydra-Matic six-speed automatic that includes TapShift control. Inside, three rows of seating are standard on all models. Interior configurations can seat six- to nine-passengers, and behind the first-row seats, Suburban offers up to 137.4 cubic feet of cargo room, while Tahoe has a spacious 108.9 cu. ft.. Fold-flat second- and third-row seats enhance the cargo convenience – including an available power-folding feature. There is an optional rear-seat entertainment system that adds dual screens (Suburban only) and Blu-ray DVD player.

First staged in 1901, the Chicago Auto Show is the largest auto show in North America and has been held more times than any other auto exposition on the continent. The 2015 show marks the 107th edition of the Chicago Auto Show. It has been presented by the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA) since 1935. It is held at McCormick Place, Chicago Illinois
