19 October 2015: A turkey vulture or buzzard sits atop a fence post in rural Indiana waiting for a passerby to leave so it can return to it's meal of roadkill.
The turkey vulture, also known in some North American regions as the turkey buzzard, and in some areas of the Caribbean as the John crow or carrion crow, is a vulture that is the most widespread of the New World vultures.
