12 February 2015: 2015 FIAT 500L: Big news for the 2015 Fiat 500L is the available six-speed automatic transmission, for a total of three tranny options. New paint colors include Blue Tornado and Rosso Red (Deep Lava Red), which brings the total to 11 exterior color choices. Designed on the "small-wide" architecture, the 500L provides 26 inches more in length, plus six-inches more height and width. Visually, the 500L is wrapped in contemporary Italian design, with unique front and rear fascia designs, rugged-looking flared wheel arches and larger 17-inch wheels. The '15 Fiat 500L expands the Cinquecento's appeal by offering more than 42 percent more interior space with spacious seating for five. There are engaging driving dynamics - tight handling and quick steering, a 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine with a best-in-class 160 horsepower to the front-wheel drive, and two six-speed transmission offerings. Buyers have a choice of trim levels, including the 500L Pop, Easy, Trekking and Lounge models. A trendsetting cabin environment features an all-new Uconnect 5.0 system with a 5-inch intelligently and intuitively designed touchscreen interface, handsfree calling and Bluetooth-streaming audio, as well as voice-command control of the radio and a media hub for seamless integration of portable devices. Occupants will enjoy the nearly 360-degree panoramic views provided by the exclusive glass A- to D-pillars and large (20.7 sq. ft.) dual-pane sunroof. For shopping or traveling, you can load up the 23.1 cu. ft. of room in the luggage compartment.
