  • 07 October 2013: Creekside Cabin - a cabin built with timbers from an 1860's cabin.  The cabin was rebuilt in 1988.  Two bathrooms, 2 bedrooms + a bunkhouse bedroom, kitchen, living area, gas burning stove and a hot tub are included in the accommodations.  The site is semi-secluded.

  • 08 October 2013:   Lake Yellowwood in Yellowwood State Forest.<br />
<br />
Yellowwood State Forest was created on leased federal land in 1940.  It was later (1956) deeded to the state of Indiana.  More than 2000 vacant and eroded acres were planted with pine, black locust, black walnut, and red and white oak.  Yellowwood Lake is 133 acres and about 30 feet deep.
